Dr. Christoph Kerres, LL. M. – Member of the Advisory Board
Dr. Christoph Kerres, a Member of the Advisory Board of Dara Capital, has 20 years’ experience in all areas of corporate and commercial law, specializing in private foundations and Trusts. His practice areas include Private Foundations and Trusts for industry groups, M&A Corporate and Commercial Law, Venture Capital and Private Equity.
Dr Kerres, who received his doctorate degree in Law from the University of Vienna in 1982 and an LL.M. degree from Georgetown University in 1987, was admitted to the New York Bar in 1986 and to the Vienna Bar in 1987.
He is one of the founding partners of the law firm Kerres | Partners (1996), and is now Attorney at Law Managing Partner of Kerres Rechtsanwalts GmbH. He has been a practicing attorney in Vienna and Washington DC.
Christoph Kerres lectures at a number of international conventions on topics including private banking law, secrecy obligations and tax schemes for private foundations in Austria. He has also authored a number of articles on related topics.
Dr. Kerres is an Austrian national and speaks German, English and Spanish.
