Mr Tony Knecht – Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Tony Knecht, co-founder of Dara Capital, is an experienced investment professional with extensive knowledge of Banking and Finance garnered during more than two decades.Before creating Dara Capital Ltd., Mr Knecht spent 7 years as an Executive Board Member for the renowned family office IHAG Holding AG. He was also Chief Investment Officer for IHAG's New Jersey-based Prime Participations LLC, responsible for running the firm's sizeable investment portfolio.
Prior to this, he held a number of managerial positions within UBS, with global and regional responsibilities. Mr Knecht has also worked for both Credit Suisse and the international banking division of IBM.
Born and raised in the canton of Zurich, Mr Knecht has also lived and worked in the US and UK. His mother tongue is German and he is fluent in English, with a good knowledge of French.
He holds an MBA from IMD Lausanne.
